- A cheat that may work:

- 1) Assuming that /etc/issue is copied to the port when getty initial
- opens, place a AT as the first line. This will cause the port speed
- to initialize to the correct speed.
- 2) do not allow the getty to change speed (i.e. make the getty loop
- to itself in the /etc/gettydefs entry)
- 3) If /etc/issue or its equivalent is not available, place the AT
- in the login prompt in /etc/gettydefs...
